Out of heartfelt gratitude and in the hope of helping others, I wish to tell of the blessings that have come to me through Christian Science. For many years—it almost seems nearly all my life—I had been considered delicate, suffering from stomach trouble and extreme nervousness and depression. From the time that a friend came to tell me about Christian Science I have never had a doctor, and a few weeks later gave up all medicines. For years before this I took medicine every day and the doctor was in the house every few months. The gastric trouble used to keep me in bed for weeks at a stretch, and although I have had little recurrences since taking up the study of Christian Science, the attacks have been quickly overcome and they are now so few and far between that I feel they have gone for all time. I was so nervous that I could not bear to be alone; but all that has disappeared with the loving help of a practitioner, and now that I know how to rely on God, who is ever present, all fear of being alone has gone.

For these many blessings and the beautiful awakening I am indeed grateful to God and to our Way-shower; also to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who was so patient and courageous in giving this truth to the world. I am deeply grateful for all the literature, which has been and still is such a help to me; and since the lack of supply has been overcome, I am able to subscribe for it all. I am thankful for the privilege of being a member of The Mother Church, and my sincere hope is that I shall be a faithful, loyal Christian Scientist and of some help to the cause.
