Huntington Beach, Cal.—The remodeling of the building used for church purposes by the Christian Science Society, at the northwest corner of Eighth Street and Olive Avenue, has been completed, and the first service was held in the new structure Wednesday night [Aug. 8]. The building now has a seating capacity of about one hundred.—Huntington Beach News.

Pasadena, Cal.—The Christian Science congregation has erected on the church grounds a flagpole which is eighty feet high, eighteen inches at the base, and six inches at the top.—Pasadena Star-News.

San Francisco, Cal.—Second Church of Christ, Scientist, has a new home. The handsome edifice at Dolores and Cumberland Streets was opened yesterday [Aug. 12] with services. The dedication will come later.

Ventura, Cal.—The new Christian Science church edifice on Main Street will be used for the first time for service today [Aug. 5].—Ventura Post.

Bard, Cal.—The Christian Science Society has filed an application with the county clerk for permission to borrow twelve hundred dollars with which to erect a church.

Payette, Inaho.—First Church of Christ, Scientist, dedicated its church edifice Sunday, Aug. 5.
