Although young in Science, I cannot help testifying to all the blessings which my mother and I have received since we became earnest students of Mrs. Eddy's teachings. May this testimony encourage others to do likewise. I had always been a delicate child and subject to frequent attacks of throat trouble, for which I was under the constant care of experienced physicians. Though not very painful, this trouble caused me to be confined to my room for weeks every winter, and this meant an interruption of my studies. The last time my throat became affected Christian Science treatment was given me, with the result that the ailment was overcome in three days. This was such a convincing proof of the divine power that my mother did not hesitate to have Christian Science treatment given me for my left foot, which had been diseased for a year and a half.

The diagnoses of the two specialists whom I consulted were contradictory. The second physician was positive in declaring that the trouble was a disease of the skin, which would grow worse steadily unless I had a thorough treatment during a considerable length of time. He performed a minor operation which relieved me temporarily; then the trouble manifested itself again and in a more distressing form. Thanks to Christian Science, my foot was entirely healed with a few treatments, and now I do not experience the slightest difficult in walking.

It is not only for these wonderful healings that I am grateful, but for the tremendous mental support which Christian Science has been to my mother and myself in so many instances. We are sincerely grateful, for we have learned that God is an ever present help, and that He never fails us in hours of distress. My gratitude goes out to Mrs. Eddy, for the truth which she has revealed to the world has led us into the way shown by Christ Jesus.
