War Relief Fund

The war relief fund of The Mother Church will be continued during the period of the war. The contributions to this fund have now amounted to over $325,000, and much more can be used to great advantage. Amounts forwarded from this fund reach those in the war stricken countries without any deductions for cost of administration or for other purposes. The far reaching humanitarian results obtained in this work are only limited by the amounts at the disposal of the committees.

Christian Scientists as individual citizens should decide for themselves the question of sending additional contributions to the National Red Cross, Y.M.C.A., Boy Scouts of America, and other organizations which have been founded from worthy motives and are rendering special and efficient service connected with war relief. It seems wise, however, for The Mother Church as an organization to concentrate its efforts on its own war relief fund.
