It is only right for me to acknowledge to the world through the Sentinel the help I have received from the study of Christian Science, and voice my gratitude for it. Christian Science has proved sufficient for every demand made upon it in my personal experience, no other relief for physical ailments having been sought or used for the past four years. I used to be dependent upon my family for support, being considered too weak and frail physically to work, but I have been able to provide for myself ever since coming into Science. It has been a great comfort to know that God cares for all His children. To mortal sense it is not easy for one not trained in any kind of work to find suitable employment, but Christian Science has been of immeasurable benefit to me in this respect.
My greatest joy has been the overcoming for my mother of a painful affliction which had not yielded to other treatment, and from which she had suffered for almost two years. I am sincerely thankful to God, also grateful to Mrs. Eddy and to those of her followers who have so lovingly and willingly assisted me in gaining some understanding of the truth.
Mary Elizabeth Cole, St. Louis, Mo.
