It is with a thankful heart that I testify to the healing power of Christian Science. For fourteen years I was kept on a strict diet, being under medical treatment for what was called gastric catarrh. I heard of Christian Science through a friend who had been healed, and so in the autumn of 1910, when medicine failed to bring relief from a severe attack of this trouble, I sought a Christian Science practitioner for treatment. I was told that I might eat anything I wished and it would not harm me. I did so, and was perfectly healed in three weeks. There has never been a return of the trouble. I have also been healed of tuberculosis in its first stage. The doctor said I must go into a sanitarium, and gave me other strict injunctions, but instead I had Christian Science treatment and was healed in a short time. An internal trouble has not been entirely overcome, but it is no longer necessary to wear a support such as had been used for seventeen years.

I am indeed thankful to God, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for this wonderful truth that makes us free. I am also thankful for the spiritual uplift experienced, and for our literature, which I always enjoy reading.
