Before Christian Science was brought to my attention...

Before Christian Science was brought to my attention about five years ago I was exceedingly unhappy. I had found myself obliged to earn a livelihood in the business world, which was then extremely distasteful to me. In my ignorance I did not know that all endeavor is glorified by the love with which it is pursued. Cherishing a false sense of my situation, I fretted along from day to day in a hopeless rage against conditions, and so hedged my thought about with resentment that progress in any way was impossible.

In studying Christian Science, however, I early learned that our environment is the expression of our thought. I learned too that an understanding of the Science of Mind shows all of God's ideas to be in their proper places. Naturally and quickly then followed my growth into a situation of greater opportunity and congeniality, with an overwhelming accompaniment of happiness. It is now my inestimable privilege to be associated with the work of one of the branch churches, with constant opportunity for reflecting in my daily occupation divine intelligence and divine Love, and for enjoying sweet and helpful intercourse with those directly engaged in the Father's business.

During these five years a number of physical disturbances have presented themselves, but they have been promptly overcome by the application of the truth. I am exceedingly thankful for the wondrous love of God, and grateful for Christian Science, which reveals this love to our understanding.—Eudora Jandrew, New York, N. Y.
