Several years ago I began the study of Christian Science because I had no faith in medical science as a curative agent for nervous breakdown. Sleeplessness and headaches soon disappeared, but other phases of the trouble did not leave until I began to apply my understanding of the truth. Spiritual thinking soon replaced in consciousness the false beliefs in sickness, and then I found myself entirely free and well. Since that time I have had many healings, often instantaneous. The suffering caused by a fall down a flight of steps quickly disappeared when I knew that God is my life. While on a trip Christian Science was a constant preventive of sickness, weariness, and fear. Recently I have had a wonderful healing of heart and stomach trouble.

Although I am very grateful for the physical healing, the greatest blessing Christian Science has given me is the spiritual understanding of the Bible as explained in our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. The daily study of these books in connection with our Lesson-Sermons is indeed "a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." I am striving to show my gratitude for all these benefits by putting the truth into practice as Mrs. Eddy admonishes us on page 174 of Science and Health: "Truth is revealed. It needs only to be practised."
