About five years ago, when the outlook on life seemed darkest, I took up the study of Christian Science for the second time. I was in bondage to fear, jealousy, sickness, and worry of all sorts. Turning to the twenty-seventh psalm I read, "Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord." I indeed waited with patience for that peace which passeth all human understanding, and can truthfully say I am receiving my reward and feel I have fought a good fight. I never knew God as I do now, for I had other gods; but Christian Science has taught me how to give up all and worship and serve the only true God. The realization of His omnipresence and ever-presence lifted me out of darkness into light. When a dear sister passed on, in a little while the understanding that there is no sorrow in God's kingdom and no separation in Love comforted me.
I am indeed thankful to God, "from whom all blessings flow," and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for showing us the way to work out our salvation,—to live in Life, Truth, and Love. I earnestly hope to understand and live her teachings better from day to day, and to be worthy to be called a real Christian Scientist.—
Mrs. G. F. Fuller, Indianapolis, Ind.
