Words are inadequate to express my gratitude for the blessings I have received through Christian Science. I had been in ill health for a number of years, and in February, 1912, reached a state where doctors could do nothing for me. At this time, on account of my condition, I had a severe attack of throat trouble, and although two doctors attended me I received no benefit and continued to grow weaker. When hope seemed almost gone I was led to consult a Christian Science practitioner for help, and also procured a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. From then on I gained in strength, and have been away from work only one day in nearly three years on account of sickness.

When I contrast this with my condition at the time I had to give up a good position, and not only was unable to work at all but could get no help from doctors, my gratitude can easily be understood. Whereas in those days the shelves in one room at our house would not hold all the medicine bottles, now there are none. I am thankful that the way has been made so clear, and for the health and peace received in Christian Science. — T. B. Henson, Sacramento, Cal.
