I am glad to express my deep gratitude to God, and also to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for all that Christian Science has done for me. Through it I was healed of a nervous breakdown when the physicians could do nothing for me and gave but little hope that I would ever be well again. For nine months I was not able to do anything. Then after working for some time I again had to give up my position. At last, yielding to the wishes of a dear one, I went with her to see a Christian Science practitioner, and through the truth unfolded to me by this practitioner, who lovingly and faithfully worked for me, I was able in less than five weeks to resume my work, wholly freed from this trouble.

For this healing and many other blessings I am grateful. My prayer is that I may daily grow in the understanding of the truth as it is taught in Christian Science, so that I too may help my brother man, for our Master said, "Freely ye have received, freely give."—Lena Hartleb, Amherst, Mass.
