Counting up the many blessings that have come to me through the interpretation of the Scriptures by Mrs. Eddy, I am reminded of my first experience in Christian Science, for which I am especially greateful, as the physical relief, wonderful as it seemed, proved to be but the stepping-stone to still better things, the door, as it were, to an entirely new world. The truth of its teachings left its impression as a sweet benediction after a long night of chaos and fear. Through the help of a Christian Science practitioner I was relieved in a very short time of intense suffering from an abnormal growth. There is not the slightest trace remaining of this growth, which formerly was noticeable even when I was fully dressed. I had not been able to sleep at night for many months prior to my first treatment in Science, but sleep and rest soon came to me as the calm after a storm.

This healing took place over two years ago, and since that time I have proved God's allness and the nothingness of matter many times. I feel that my gratitude will be best expressed by letting my light shine.
