Those who are willing to venture beyond the shadow of preconceived opinions are finding in Mrs. Eddy's teachings that golden thread of consistency with which the Scriptures abound and which makes for a larger knowledge of God and the elimination of sickness as well as of sin. Fortunately, Christian Science need not be accepted or rejected on the mere word of another; for on page 547 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" a statement compatible with the demand, "Work out your own salvation," is expressed in the assertion, "You can prove for yourself, dear reader, the Science of healing, and so ascertain if the author has given you the correct interpretation of Scripture."

What a great God have we:
Who giveth His people
The right to be free;
Who giveth and lendeth
To great and to small;
Whose love and truth endeth
The sorrows of all.
