Some time ago, while our little girl was at school, she fell...

Some time ago, while our little girl was at school, she fell off a horse and injured her arm. When she got home I tried to use what understanding of Christian Science I have; however, when she went to bed I had to cut her sleeve off, and the arm was so swollen that I could not determine its condition. My husband went in to the town, which is five miles away, and telephoned to a Christian Science practitioner in Winnipeg for treatment, and from that time on the pain decreased. The child did not lose a night's sleep and was up and dressed every day. For a while the arm was powerless and she had to wear a sling, but all this was overcome in about five weeks. What seemed to me most wonderful was that she experienced so little pain and inconvenience. I am convinced that under any other treatment she would have suffered greatly, and perhaps had a stiff arm. The arm that was injured is quite as strong as the other, and except for a slight lump at the elbow, which is gradually going away, I could not tell which one had been hurt.

I am very thankful for what I know of Christian Science, and am trying to learn more of this truth which brings happiness to so many.
