I am deeply grateful for what Christian Science has done for me and mine. I was receiving very unpleasant treatment from a doctor, who after a time told me my only recourse would be an operation. My husband was much opposed to this, and on speaking about it to a friend I was advised to try Christian Science. Being a little in doubt, as I had not until that time heard of this teaching, I postponed my visit to the practitioner, although knowing that when with this friend I was relieved through her living thought.

Finally, however, I visited the practitioner and received treatment. Relief was immediately experienced and I have felt better ever since. Also through the patient work of the same practitioner an obstinate case of whooping-cough was overcome in two weeks. For these and other blessings received almost daily I am deeply grateful to those who have helped me to understand the love of our dear Father, and to Mrs. Eddy for the wonderful part she has taken in revealing the truth in such a beautiful way. Since coming into Christian Science all thought of taking medicine has been entirely removed. I am perfectly healed, and Christian Science is all the world to me.—
