Some time ago my foot was caught under a heavy truck...
Some time ago my foot was caught under a heavy truck and I was thrown some few feet away. My first thought was that a bone had been broken, but I treated myself to the best of my understanding of Science and continued with my work until it was time to go home. At night the ankle was found to be much swollen and discolored, and there was a great deal of pain, but I did not call for help until the next morning. Then a practitioner was called up and a treatment given me. In about fifteen minutes the swelling began to lessen and the pain stopped.
A few more treatments were given and the ankle began to heal immediately. About three weeks later the insurance company sent a doctor out, and insisted on having an X-ray taken of the foot and ankle. This showed that the ankle-bone had been broken but had knitted together perfectly. Through the study of Science and Health and attendance at the Wednesday evening meetings I was healed of the tobacco habit of many year's standing.
I am very grateful to know of the healing power of divine Love.—August Strasburg, Los Angeles, Cal.
