For ten years I was a sufferer from periodical headaches. All kinds of physicians treated me, and massage, electric baths, dieting, and various material remedies were tried, but with only slight temporary relief.

While at work one afternoon I felt a headache coming on, and as usual looked forward to a night of suffering, with little if any sleep. For six years I had occasionally read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, but merely for optimistic reading. That afternoon, however, I resolved to try Christian Science, though with little faith that relief would be experienced. At the end of my day's work I went to a Christian Science reading-room to inquire for the nearest practitioner. The addresses of several were given me, so I went to one of them, and after stating my case, received treatment. The practitioner told me to take no thought for the body and to eat anything that I desired for supper. I did so, and after chatting with my family for a while, went to bed and had a fine night's sleep, awakening the next morning perfectly free, fresh, and strong.

The healing has been permanent. To say that I am grateful does not begin to express my thankfulness to all who have made this Christ-healing possible.
