It is with a feeling of joy and gratitude that I offer my testimony of the help received from Christian Science. Problems mental, physical, and financial have been solved, always with an increased spiritual unfoldment. At one time when there was an epidemic of mumps in the schools, my seven year old daughter manifested all the symptoms in a pronounced form. A Christian Science practitioner was called, and the child was healed in one treatment, sleeping all night and waking in a perfectly harmonious condition.

My husband also had a wonderful healing. While working at a cannery, one of the boys who was cleaning the tables turned the live steam on my husband's back, so that he was burned from his head to his waist. The pain was intense, but with the help of a fellow worker he was relieved, then rode his wheel three miles to a Christian Science practitioner. In half an hour every sensation of pain had disappeared, and he soon noticed that he was leaning back against a chair with no sense of discomfort. The next morning he went to the cannery at six o'clock and did his usual amount of active work, which included the lifting of heavy boxes above his head. No words can express our gratitude for the blessings which have been gained through Mrs. Eddy's life-work, and for our faithful and unselfish practitioners.
