I have made many attempts to send an expression of gratitude for publication, but something has always caused the postponement of this duty. The ever present law of Love has, however, gone on caring for me just the same, and now in meekness and with joy I wish to mention some of the blessings that have come to me. Twelve years ago, through the treatment and application of Christian Science I was healed in two weeks of a condition called by the physicians paralysis of the bowels, after having had medical treatment continuously for three years. A growth in the nostril disappeared at the same time. I was subject to an eruption caused by exposure to poison-oak, but was also freed from this trouble, which was very painful and disfiguring.

In a family of three, of whom only one is a student of Christian Science, we have had wonderful health manifested. This only shows what a little of the leaven of love it takes to make us whole. I daily thank our heavenly Father for the example of our blessed Saviour, as revealed to us through the spiritual work of our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
