It is from a heart overflowing with gratitude that I send this testimony to tell of the blessings which Christian Science has brought to me and mine. On July 16, 1911, our little boy, thirteen years of age at the time, was bitten by a rattlesnake. A physician was called, but he could not reach us until three hours later. A second physician was called, and then a third. At five o'clock the following morning the physicians gave up hope, saying that the boy was sinking fast. Knowing what I did of Christian Science, I held to the one Mind and the thought that God is Life. I told the physician that we would "fight the good fight," and he answered, "I have done so, but I seem to have failed." I immediately told my husband to get a Christian Science practitioner, and by six o'clock the lad was having treatment. I shall never forget how beautiful it seemed, for he improved so rapidly. In two weeks he was out and around, playing, and since then has experienced no ill effects, as was feared by many. He has been in perfect health ever since, and is now attending school at St. Louis, Mo.

I am surely grateful for all the healing and spiritual understanding that I and my family have received during the last seven years.
