With a thankful heart I wish to acknowledge the many blessings we have received since coming to Christian Science about fourteen years ago. I suffered every winter from throat trouble, so that sometimes I was unable to eat for three or four days; but this was overcome through the reading of Science and Health. Christian Science not only heals disease but prevents it. This has been proven in our family through my little son, who was born in Christian Science. He attends Sunday school, where he is being taught the truth about God and man. My daughter was healed of nervousness. She was also unable to walk right, and received little help from the doctor, but she is now in good health and is working every day. My arm became paralyzed, disabling me and causing me great pain, but this was entirely overcome in five treatments in Christian Science about four years ago.

Words are inadequate to express my love and thankfulness to God, and my gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for the good that has come to me through this wonderful revelation of Truth. It is my earnest desire to be able to demonstrate by deeds, by leading a consistent life, all that I know to be true. I hope some day to become more worthy to be called a Christian Scientist. I am also very grateful for the German version of Science and Health.
