Poem February 27, 1915 Issue

[Written for the Sentinel]

Knowing

F. MARION RALSTON

I know that God is good,
That Love is true,
That Truth divine abides,
And doth endue
The heart of every woman,
Man, or child,
With purity and faith,
And instincts mild.

There can no harm befall
His little one:
He guardeth him from rise
To set of sun;
And all the child doth need
Is to obey,
And listen for the words
His Lord may say.
