I am very grateful for the many blessings I have received...
I am very grateful for the many blessings I have received in Christian Science. A few years ago I was in very poor health. I had suffered from asthma for years, and was much discouraged when my physician told me that I would have to go away from the coast in order to get any relief, and that it was useless for me to take any more medicine. I knew it would be impossible for me to go away, so I decided to try Christian Science. I called on a faithful practitioner, who gave me my first treatment. I was relieved at once, but was not entirely free from asthma for about a year and a half, during which time I received a number of treatments. I was also healed of nervousness. I have had a cough all my life, but it is growing less, and I am sure it too will disappear. My son had what the physician called tubercular glands in his neck, and very weak eyes, the latter trouble being supposedly caused by poor health. Just a short time before I turned to Christian Science, the physician said it would be necessary to operate on him. Now he is a big, strong boy. He was healed in three Christian Science treatments.
For these blessings, and for the peace of mind which has come to me through the understanding I have gained of Christian Science, I am indeed grateful.
