I desire to express my gratitude for what God has done for me through the truth as revealed in Christian Science. Since earliest childhood I had been sickly, and the conditions grew worse each year. No physician seemed able to determine the nature of the trouble, and all prescribed remedies failed to relieve me. As I grew older I was for six years under medical treatment without any relief. I was a nervous wreck, and did not care whether I lived or not. One day a neighbor advised me to try Christian Science, so I attended a Wednesday evening meeting and there heard a testimony which impressed me very much. I asked my friend if the lady was a practitioner, and being told that she was, I called on her. I am glad to say that with the first treatment I felt better, and after three weeks was healed. This was Aug. 5, 1912, and the change was so wonderful that all my friends were surprised, and remarked that surely Christian Science is a great healing agency.

I am thankful to say that this truth has not only helped me in sickness, but in every way. I am deeply grateful to Mrs. Eddy for reflecting this spiritual light whereby all mankind can be saved from sin, sickness, and death. I am also thankful for the spiritual understanding which I have gained through the study of the Bible and Science and Health.
