In April, 1910, I called on a specialist with my daughter, who was suffering from an affection of the eyes. After one year's treatment this physician declared that no further help was possible, as there was total atrophy of the opticnerve of the right eye. While my child was in such a distressing condition I heard of Christian Science through my brother-in-law, who advised me to give it a trial and see what it would do in this case. With full trust in God I went to a Christian Science practitioner and asked for treatment. This was in July, 1911. Three months later there was nothing left of the trouble, and the child now sees quite well with both eyes. Another of my children was healed within three days of a very serious difficulty.

In many instances I have been able to prove the power of Love, Truth, omnipotent good, thanks to the Discoverer of Christian Science, and my endeavor is to show my gratitude by holding fast to the teachings of Truth, thus partaking more and more of the fulness of God, to whom be glory.
