Before taking up the study of Christian Science (in 1912) I suffered from catarrh. Many kinds of medicine had been tried but all had failed to cure me. By the time I had read Science and Health through I experienced a great change. The disease at once began to disappear and the healing has been permanent. My slight understanding of Christian Science helps me to "cling steadfastly to God and His idea" (Science and Health, p. 495). I am deeply thankful to God, and grateful to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for this truth which makes us free.—Louis Wampfler, St. Joseph, Mo.
