Fantasy—Reality

Imprisoned? No! There are no bars betweenUs and our good. What seems to hold us fastIs but illusion's fancied bond, dream-woven:The warp, the woof, the weaver,—all are butA fantasy, imagination's child,Fear born, fear nurtured, and by fear enthralled.

Imprisoned? No! This fearsome, earth-born childIs not of God or of His image, man.Man knows no fear: he knows no Mind but God;And man does aye express the wisdom, strength; The beauty and the power of Life and Love,—The Christ, who ever comes to heal and save!
