It is seventeen years since I heard of Christian Science, and twelve years since I first had a practitioner treat me. I have received treatment from the same practitioner several times since then, and have invariably experienced almost immediate relief. When I applied for treatment, the Scientist said I should get a copy of Science and Health and study it with the Bible. This I did before leaving Austin, and I continued to read these books every day, and also at night. I am still studying, and expect to do so in the future. I have never received class instruction, but by reading the Bible and our Leader's writings in explanation of it, I have been helped many times. I realize that God can and does heal the sick.—Mrs. E.
