I suffered for years and went to many physicians, none of whom were able to help me,—they did not even agree as to the nature of the disease. I was usually treated for stomach trouble, as I had pain in that region. In the mean while I continued to grow weaker and more miserable, until one day my attention was called to Christian Science, and in my need I decided to give it a trial. I went to a practitioner and asked for help, which was lovingly given, and the result was that after a few treatments I became well, and now I am a very different woman. When discordant conditions are occasionally manifested, I am able to prove the powerlessness of evil through the realization that God, good, is all-power; and for this understanding, which has been given us through divine Love, I am indeed very thankful. I am also grateful to Mrs. Eddy, whose obedience to the will of God has again made possible for us the discernment of Christ, Truth.
