The help which I have received through Christian Science has filled me with deep gratitude and prompts me to give the following testimony. Two years ago, just before Easter, I was about to draw the curtain of the show-window, when the ladder on which I was standing slipped, and I fell to the ground. Passers-by picked me up and carried me into the house, as I seemed helpless. I was in great pain, and had difficulty in breathing; then my neck became stiff. I lay in this condition, without expressing a desire for anything, while my dear wife read in Der Herold der Christian Science. As no change for the better took place, we asked a practitioner to treat me. With the first treatment my neck improved, so that I was able to turn my head, and during the following three weeks the pain gradually disappeared, until I recovered completely. For this I give thanks to God, the great Physician, and I gratefully remember our Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
