I first became interested in Christian Science through the healing of my mother in April, 1912. She had been seriously ill for weeks with a complication of diseases. She also had acute lung trouble, besides severe hemorrhage of the bowels. The doctors stated that they could do no more with the case. We then called in a Christian Science practitioner, with the result that the hemorrhage stopped after the first treatment, and in about four weeks she was practically healed. Since then she has had better health than she had experienced for twenty years. In May I requested treatment for myself as I had been suffering for years with female trouble, bowel disorder, and rheumatism in the hip. In two weeks I was entirely healed.

In July my husband was taken with a very severe attack of acute throat trouble. He had the best physicians, and one throat specialist who lanced his throat four times. For several days he was unable to swallow even water, and the operations did no good. Finally he called for help in Christian Science about five o'clock one evening. By eleven o'clock the next day he was able to eat a hearty meal, and he has had no trouble with his throat since.
