Sincere gratitude prompts me to testify to the quick relief which I have experienced through Christian Science. For eleven years I suffered with abdominal complaint. I had been at a clinique three times, and then I heard of Christian Science; but I could not believe that healing was possible on earth today as in Jesus' time. In October, 1912, the difficulty manifested itself again, and I was expected to go to the clinique for the fourth time. I had completely lost faith in the physician's ability to relieve me, as he had guaranteed at three different times that the trouble would not return; therefore on this occasion I went to a Christian Science practitioner in Berlin for treatment, and after three weeks I was able to inform her that my healing was complete. For this, as well as for many other benefits, I am deeply thankful to God, and grateful to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
