By "Key to the Scriptures" Dr. — evidently means the Christian Science text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, which he includes in a list of books on mental therapeutics in his column, "How to Keep Well," in the Tribune. Christian Scientists will be glad to see it listed under such a category, for they have tested its practical value as a means of keeping well. It is also properly listed under mental therapeutics, but cannot properly be referred to as "similar" to the other books on mental therapeutics with which he groups it. Theirs is the therapeutics of the human mind, while that of Christian Science is the therapeutics of the divine Mind, God. St. Paul is my authority for stating that the two kinds may not properly be listed as similar. They are, in fact, absolute opposites, both in classification and results.

I left the city's ceaseless din And stood on upland field within,
Girt round with trees crowned o'er with gold,
Fit symbols of the summer's yield.
