Christian Science means everything to me; and to say I am...
Christian Science means everything to me; and to say I am grateful is putting it mildly indeed. This teaching has lifted me up and out of conditions which in the old thought I never could have overcome. In my darkest hour I was led to the truth, and when God brought me out of that seeming condition, new hope came to me. I was still very miserable at heart. My one desire was to meet some one, have some experience, or find some occupation that would take me entirely away from self. A day came when I was invited to visit a friend whom I had known a long time but had lost sight of, and as a result of that visit I learned of Christian Science. I was thus led to the truth in a simple yet beautiful way, and have attended church regularly from the beginning. Christian Science has helped me in business and in domestic life as well as physically.
I am thankful to God for my many blessing, and my desire is to help others, that they may learn the meaning of Job's words, "I know that my redeemer liveth." I am grateful for Science and Health, which our Leader so lovingly and unselfishly gave to the world. I thank God for Christian Science.—Rose Erhardt, Chicago, Ill.
