In August, 1912, our little son, aged six years, was scalded on the arm and leg by the accidental overturning of a pan of boiling starch. The burns were so severe that the skin came away in patches with the clothing when it was removed. A Christian Science practitioner was called to treat the boy, and in one week some of the burns had healed, while others required a few days longer. After the first few moments the child seemed to suffer no pain, and the accident did not interfere with his play except at the time it occurred. The neighbors who saw the burns at the time of the accident thought this healing very remarkable. There are no marks or scars visible, and no further trouble has been experienced. We are also able to rejoice in many other evidences of the healing power of Truth.—E. L. Gaines, Seattle, Wash.
