In a recent issue there appeared an article which stated that Christian Science had accomplished considerable good in pointing way toward that higher sphere for the treatment of diseases of the soul into which medicine could not reach. With your kind permission I would like to call attention to the fact that Christian Science has done far more than to point the way in the direction indicated. Those who are correctly informed, know that Christian Science has healed, and does heal, all types of disorder, whether termed mental or physical, functional, organic, acute, chronic, or what not. And those who have studied Christian Science sufficiently to obtain an understanding of its demonstrable principle, fully appreciate that it could not be otherwise; that inasmuch as the practise of Christian Science is utilizing the power of God to heal, it is obvious that God, being infinite, has no limitation. The life and experiences of Jesus fully prove this, for it is recorded in Scripture that he healed "all manner of disease." Christian Science is a revival of this spiritual healing of Jesus. He never inquired, and there was no necessity for him to know, what the prevailing belief or opinion was relative to the case at hand. Whether it was a so-called incurable one or not was immaterial, each yielded readily to the spiritual treatment which he applied and taught others to practise in their ministrations for the relief of suffering humanity. He admonished his disciples and flowers to "preach the gospel," and "heal the sick."
