I have much to be grateful for, as I have received many blessings since I accepted Christian Science. A short time ago I had a severe attack of what is termed gall-stones. I called a practitioner, and in three days I was up and around, and a week later I went back to my work. The first time I was attacked in this way I called in a physician, and it took many weeks before I got over the illness, and I felt the effects all winter. While the doctor was attending me he said that probably an operation would be necessary, and the pain I suffered can hardly be described. In Christian Science, however, it was so different! The pain left me almost entirely after the second day that I began to take treatment. For all this I am thankful to God, and grateful to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy.—H. G. Schindler, Chicago, Ill.
