KIND WORDS

CHARLES C. SANDELIN.

Words soft-spoken and kind,
Like sunbeams through clouds of day,
Into the heart to grief resigned
Stealthily find their way!

Lightening the darkness there
Till the full-orbed sun doth shine:
Thus thy brother's burden bear,
Knowing his good is thine!
