I had attended churches all my life, listened to sermons...
I had attended churches all my life, listened to sermons in all denominations, but none seemed to satisfy my need. Spiritualism and hypnotism also attracted my attention, only to leave me farther away from the truth, and I had almost lost faith in God. My nervous system became a wreck, and I had severe headaches for weeks at a time; then my eyes were so weak that I could hardly read, and I was miserable and dissatisfied, when a kind friend advised me to read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, which I did.
My husband and I had no faith in anything religious, but I soon gained faith in Christian Science. Being of a goodly nature, he was only too glad to grasp at anything which would bring us peace and health, and for twelve years we have relied on Christian Science for healing in our family. Our two little girls have been healed of many ailments, among them being throat trouble in a serious form, which was overcome in two treatments. My husband has received many benefits, both physically and financially. I have been healed of all my ailments and am now perfectly well. The physical healing is, however, nothing to the happiness and satisfaction experienced through the little spiritual understanding I have gained in Christian Science. For this and many other blessings I am ever grateful to Mrs. Eddy, who so patiently put this wonderful truth before the world.
Mrs. Alice Richards, Santa Ana, Cal.
