In grateful acknowledgment to God I wish to add my testimony of healing through Christian Science of what my physician called intestinal and liver trouble, or chronic appendicitis, which trouble came on about the first of June, 1909. I had medical treatment continually from that time till about the first of December, under one of the best physicians of this city, but without any permanent relief, when a friend of mine advised me to try Christian Science. Acting on this advice, I engaged the services of a practitioner and read Science and Health diligently, and from the first there was a sense of relief. While my complete restoration to health was not gained for about two months, I can say that I now feel no trace of the trouble. I had despaired of ever getting well, and spent many sleepless, restless nights, and suffered so much pain that it was with difficulty I attended to my daily duties. I also wish to say that my healing came through absent treatment. I trust that some poor sufferer may be benefited by this testimonial and know that there is the same healing power with us today as when Christ Jesus healed all manner of diseases.
