I wish to express my sincere gratitude for a few of the many demonstrations which we have had since coming into Christian Science about three years ago. Recently our little girl, who is five years old, was healed of an acute attack of bowel trouble, accompanied by very severe pains in the abdomen, vomiting, throat trouble, and high fever. For two days she lay in what appeared to be a very serious condition, not being able to take any nourishment at all, even a teaspoonful of liquid causing great pain. I asked for help from a practitioner, and inside of a few days the conditions were overcome. After the tenth day the fever was broken, when she started to eat as formerly, and was soon up and at play. This to us was a very wonderful demonstration of God's allness.

I myself have been healed of a catarrhal condition of the stomach, an organic trouble, the wearing of glasses, and an ear trouble. For all of these I had taken treatment in materia medica off and on for several years, but had received no permanent benefit. My husband has been healed of appendicitis, for which two physicians had told him that it would be necessary at some time to have an operation performed. This was over three years ago, and he has never felt the need of an operation. We feel that no matter what the demand may be, God is always ready to take care of His own.

My daily prayer is, that I may so increase in knowledge that I may help others to know God as I am endeavoring to know Him, as a good and perfect God, who is always willing to help us out of our difficulties.
