Too long have I withheld my testimony from publication, and altogether too long have I failed in giving God thanks and praise at our testimonial meetings, where it is the privilege and duty of every one who has experienced the healing power of Truth to speak. Five years ago, I was healed in Christian Science of a severe nervous condition, together with complications pronounced hopeless by a medical doctor. My healing was instantaneous, after I had received six days' treatment in Christian Science. Since this healing, many serious ailments have been met and overcome, and false beliefs are daily being destroyed; for to our human sense the tares grow amid the golden grain, and these have to be separated, and only the good harvested.

As the understanding of Truth dawns upon my once benumbed senses, the way becomes clearer, and strength is given hourly to take up the duties of each day, to destroy the falsities of this so-called life, and its beliefs of sensation in matter. The heartaches, the bitter tears, the exhaustion, are no longer realities; poverty, and losses that once seemed inevitable, are becoming as vague dreams, and a sense of power, that God alone can impart, is becoming real and tangible, wherein man is given dominion over every false belief; hence my way is becoming clearer, and the word which imparts these blessings is becoming dearer. Let not those who are struggling with adversity, no matter what the manifestations may be, feel discouraged, for truly God is all powerful and unfailing in His answer to the prayers of His children who trust and abide in His allness. For many months a sense of dire poverty argued that it was real, and could not be changed; but with the help of a practitioner whose love, faith, and understanding were sufficient to hold fast to the promises of God until the hour of deliverance was come, freedom came to me, and a knowledge of the power of Truth.

For all of God's blessings I am thankful, and grateful indeed for the teaching given this age by the faithful and loving demonstration of our dear, brave Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
