I did not come into Christian Science through physical...
I did not come into Christian Science through physical healing. My next-door neighbors were Scientists, and they asked me to go to a Wednesday evening meeting. I did so, and hearing the testimonies, I thought there must be something in Christian Science, for surely no one would give such testimonies if they were not true. I had had many troubles, and I began to think if there was a God at all He was very unjust. Among other things my eyes troubled me, and I decided that I would see if I could not get along without glasses. Through the understanding gained from Science and Health I have never used them since, and can see better than ever before, for dressmaking is my chief occupation and I have to use my eyes a great deal. My disposition is much improved also, and many of my friends have noticed the change. I am indeed grateful to find an ever-present help, and I now realize that God is All. I am thankful that our dear Leader has given us this light through her books.—
