I wish to tell others of the help which I have had from treatment in Christian Science. My teeth were always so sensitive that whenever I had any dentistry done it was all I could endure, and often I suffered for days and nights thereafter. The last time I went to a dentist I dreaded the ordeal ahead of me, as there was much filling to be done; but I called on a Christian Science practitioner for treatment that day, and I can truly say that it did not hurt me through all that long forenoon, excepting two or three times when for an instant I allowed myself to fear. I might have thought my teeth had no nerves. Once the dentist said, "You will suffer some now;" but I felt no sensation what ever. What seemed most wonderful to me was, that when I arose from the chair there was no feeling of soreness. I should not have known that any work had been done, so far as feeling it was concerned, and the fillings have never been sensitive since.
I had another demonstration of the power of Truth on my way home. I slipped on some ice, and in falling struck on my spine and elbow. For a while I could not move; then a gentleman helped me to rise, and although it seemed impossible, I walked along, at first suffering severely, though this almost instantly left me. I declared the truth, after which I walked about two miles, and never since have I felt any ill effects from the fall. Later, through a period of extreme heat I felt well and strong, and the sun did not "smite" me. The best of it all, however, is the spiritual uplift. I have no more dread, or worry, or fear, for I realize that God is and always will be with me.
