It has been my desire for some time to tell of the benefits which myself and family have received since we have had help in Christian Science. I came to Science not for physical healing, but for something that would give me peace of mind, and I have received this to such an extent that those who have seen some of the discords I have had to meet have been surprised at my calmness and peace in passing through these trials. I am deeply grateful for this, and it proves a favorite text in the Bible, which says, "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee."
During the four years that we have had Christian Science in our home, Truth has met and overcome all sorts of sickness and discord. This last winter, when I seemed hard pressed by discordant conditions, such as various sicknesses manifested by the children, I was grateful that we were not compelled to rely upon nauseating medicines or to watch the weather-vane for any change in the wind for fear of bad results. We can never cease from giving thanks to a loving Father "who health all thy diseases," and to our beloved Leader, who made the way clear to us that we might be both happy and healthy. If this testimony has given hope to any seeking the truth, I shall be glad indeed that I gave it.
Mrs. Frances Russo, Oakland, Cal.
