It gives me much pleasure to testify to the faithful work...
It gives me much pleasure to testify to the faithful work done for us in Christian Science. My little daughter was taken suddenly and violently ill with what was pronounced acute lung trouble. The fever was very high and she had hemorrhages. We called on a practitioner for help on Thursday evening, and before midnight the disease was arrested and the child was able to be up the next day. On Monday she returned to school, well! In the fall of 1910 this same child's health seemed to fail rapidly, and her appearance was such as to cause many remarks. Again we asked for help in Christian Science, and a few treatments brought a miraculous change. Even now people remark on how bad she looked at that time and how well she looks now. I feel I could not have kept her with me had not the understanding of Truth been so faithfully demonstrated. The case was past all material help.
I myself have had many a "cup of cold water" in Christ's name, and Christian Science has proved for me the power of divine Love to heal and to save. I lovingly commend it to any searcher after the Christ-healing.
Mae E. DeShazo, Beatrice, Neb.
