I wish to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me, and I hope that some one who reads this may be led to investigate the truth which makes us free, as Jesus promised. In the summer of 1909 I was healed of a severe stomach trouble, but was not then ready to accept Christian Science, so went on in the old sinful way. The next year I was taken sick with an internal disease, from which the doctors said I could not possibly recover without an operation, and that it must be performed very soon, since I could not live long as I was. Then a friend offered me Christian Science and went with me to see a practitioner. In a short time I was healed, not only of the sickness, but of the sin. Words cannot tell how grateful I am for the spiritual uplift which the study of Christian Science has brought to me. I am truly thankful to God for my healing, and also grateful to Mrs. Eddy for showing us the way to this saving truth.
