It is with a heart full of gratitude that I give my testimony of healing in Christian Science. At the age of sixteen my health failed me and I was taken out West. On my return home I collapsed with nervous exhaustion, and from that time, which was seven years ago, until I became interested in Science, two years since, I sought in every way for health. Having doctored with five of the best physicians here, having spent eight months in a private sanitarium in Indianapolis, and having taken treatments from a magnetic healer for nine months in the same city, with but temporary relief, I turned to Christian Science as a last resort. A practitioner was called in, and after my first week of treatment I found that I had gained greatly in weight. I was healed of severe bowel and stomach trouble, also a bad condition of the eyes. Severe headaches have also been overcome, and many other ailments. In less than two months after coming into Science I gained wonderfully in health.
To say I am thankful to God, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for this wonderful healing of mind and body, but slightly expresses my gratitude. I believe the only way to show our appreciation is to live this truth, thereby helping others; and my daily prayer is to be a true Christian Scientist.
Miss Tedda Gagen, Lafayette, Ind.
