I am glad to testify to the regenerative power of Christian Science

I am glad to testify to the regenerative power of Christian Science. When this truth came to me I was mentally, physically, and morally sick. All my ambitions and ideals were material. My views of life were distorted; my spiritual nature, famished. In the state of mind in which I lived, it was inevitable that disasters should overtake me, and when they came the materialism which had brought them offered no relief.

The healing of my brother in Christian Science opened my eyes. I accepted Truth, inspired by reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and by several interviews with a faithful practitioner; and I can say that like Mrs. Eddy I am still "a willing disciple at the heavenly gate, waiting for the Mind of Christ" (Science and Health, Pref., p. ix). I find myself able to demonstrate the truth with increasing assurance, and rejoice to see the shackles of a belief in any power opposed to God continually falling away. Christian Science has indeed made me a new creature.—Irwin Spear, Chicago, Ill.
