As I meditate on the good I have received through Christian Science...
As I meditate on the good I have received through Christian Science I feel I should express my gratitude through the Sentinel. At one time I was bitterly prejudiced against it, and it was not the desire for physical healing that led me into the truth. I was more in need of mental and spiritual help, for I had been of a nervous temperament and inclined to worry the greater part of my life. These errors are now being overcome to a great extent as I daily study the Lesson-Sermons and apply the truth therein taught. I find these Lessons from the Bible, and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, very helpful, for through them we gain a clearer understanding of Truth and Love. I have been healed of a large swelling near the eye which almost closed that organ; after the first treatment in Christian Science the pain ceased entirely.
For the spiritual and physical blessings received I am very grateful to God and thankful to Mrs. Eddy. I also wish to express my gratitude for the loving thought shown in directing me to the divine Principle of all good.
Mrs. Lulu M. Cole, San Francisco, Cal.
